    Totally awesome
I know that this is more of a Gwydion thing, but I've got a video here for you. I only post it because it had me laughing for a good minute, not that that's very hard or anythnig, but still.

Also, in case you don't know, the Bosmer with the yellow hair is called "An Adoring Fan". He appears once you become Arena Grand Champion, and he's incredibly annoying. You can get him to follow you if you want.

    The day that life changed
Kanjiro had a nightmare. In it, five beings sold their souls for power, then four people who were effected by the five's power struggles vowed revenge. They were sent to another world, where they found an artifact that could kill the evil ones. They then did so.

After the dream Kanjiro woke to find himself floating in space next to an old, meditating man. The old man called himself True Master and told Kanjiro three things.

    1) Kanjiro is a true seer, the only one of his kind. His visions are unseeable by anyone else, so they cannot be stopped.

    2) The Founders are evil spirits that are trying to make Kanjiro's visions darker and more evil.

    3) Kanjiro should watch out for mushrooms.

With that, he disappeared and Kanjiro was in his room. He went to a meeting where Komon assigned them a mission: Follow a lead on Hiromi and call for backup once she is found.

They went to the lead who told them to kill a man for his assistance. Risako left in disgust, with the others following. They went to the "Well Fed Mushroom", a restaurant, to get some food. While there, the man that their lead had wanted them to kill came in with a bazooka. He said that it was a stickup and ordered everyone except the party to get on the ground.

He recognised their clothing as being New Magopir style, so he wasn't going to press his luck and order them around. Risako seemed to not care, but decided to leave. While they left Kanjiro used telekinesis to make the bazooka into a bomb. The man tried to fire it and killed himself.

Their lead was walking along at the time, and he saw the target die. Elated, he told the party to go to a specific apartment to find Hiromi. Risako called for backup, causing Komon and Afro to teleport in. Komon explained that he wanted to take Hiromi down personally.

They entered the apartment to find Ryu, Hanae, Mineko, and Sen dead. Komon told Hiromi that he had a numerical advantage of three on one, so she should surrender and go to an asteroid somewhere. Hiromi responded by saying that OTS wasn't ready and that she had Knight as well, so really it was two on two. They started to fight, and a deflected blast hit the party, teleporting them to a plateau in a savannah.

Dotting the landscape are giant crystal spires. The crystal cannot be cut by anything save Risako's magic, and they cannot be destroyed or created in any way at all.

They were totally alone, with no other sentient beings anywhere at all. More suprising, Kanjiro had lost Sue, Edward, and OTS. After a month, babies started being found. This lead to children and then adults. All the newcomers were hit with hardcore amnesia.

They then found Ryu. He remembered nothing after the Cet'Ralli arriving. Hoshi was next. He was in a human body, and he remembered up to his death and a little beyond. He said that he had been at the gates to Hades, but had been sent here because he needed to actually live in order to actually die.

Third up was Hiromi. She remembered everything. Once the Cet'Ralli came, Healing Queen took over and tortured her for information before forcing her out of control of her own body.

A year passed until the landscape started to change. First a mountain appeared. Then a river off of the mountain. Finally, a sea appeared that the river lead to. Soon, boats arrived and the people inside made a village by the sea. The mayor of the village said that he was like the party in that he had memories and that a village just popped up around him. He said that his village had emigrated here because monsters had shown up near his village. He also said that he was from the Edo period in Japan.

More villages appeared, and each time the landscape changed to suit them.

    Oh! Right! The summary!
I totally forgot about doing this. Sorry!

Risako's new school, the Generalist school, had fairly widespread approval. But that's largely unimportant for this adventure. Maybe it'll matter more next time. Who knows? Me.

Anyway, the party and Sen's team arrived at their target. At midnight someone teleported in and lead the party to a warehouse. Inside the warehouse were five Black Hands. They transformed into monsters: a giant porcupine, a werebear, a Strider, a dragon, and a Ten-Arm.

After the monsters were killed, a hidden voice started telling them a story...

Sometime around 4000 BCE five individuals with magic were born, the Founders of Magopir. This much is known. The standard story is that they were all killed after OTS was furious about certain atrocities that Universal ordered.

However, the speaker alleged that this story was false. She said that while Universal ordered the atrocities, Seer was the one to carry them out. She also said that Universal was killed by Knight, who was being paid by Seer.

Seer then took over the empire and finished the conquest. However, Queen was tired of all the violence, and killed all four of the remaining Founders, including herself, to end it. Then the Council took over.

However, the story continued. Many years later, Universal reincarnated in Komon's body. 100 years later, Queen and Seer reincarnated, in the bodies of Hiromi and Kanjiro. Komon spent the hundred years becoming a Knight. Once Queen reincarnated Komon saw to it that he became Lord Mazaki's most trusted servant.

Komon sent a demon, Genjo, to kill Hiromi. He failed, and lead Hiromi to Kanjiro. Komon was worried, but his solution to the problem was to have Genjo killed in front of Kanjiro in a horrible manner, and then to have the ensuing mindwipe instead multiply the agony of the moment. He thought that Kanjiro would kill himself, ridding Komon of the problem entirely.

Five years later, Komon sent Kamata to kill Hiromi. He failed, but sent Hiromi and Kanjiro to an alternate dimension. Not knowing how long they would be gone, Komon used his opportunity to have Kamata take over Earth. He also manipulated Lord Mazaki into giving him control of New Magopir.

With his power base acquired, Komon needed to hold it. He gave Kamata the energy theft ritual and then binded Kamata's soul to a castle, ensuring that Kamata would remain a threat, but not be capable of actually winning the war.

Then, much to Komon's dismay, Hiromi and Kanjiro returned. He had to accept them as otherwise their respective Founders would wake up and kill him.

After the voice said this, it was revealed that the speaker was actually Hiromi. She said that the Healing Queen had woken up in her after the Cet'Ralli arrived. She also said that they would need to kill Komon and steal a special amulet to kill Kamata, ending the war. However, before the party could either agree or disagree with her New Magopir police arrived, causing Hiromi, Ryu, and Sen's team to flee.

    Comments are always welcome.

    Season Four!
With the passing of time, history is made. Cliff notes version of the last ten years:

    1) The Moon is taken from the Earth forces

    2) ARM dissolves

    3) Cet'Ralli appear and are given Carrasis as a home

    4) Black Hand terrorists appear, want to slag Earth and Carrasis

    5) Hoshi dies

    6) Ryu has a kid

    7) Risako gets an amulet and becomes the head of the Generalist school

    8) Kanjiro finishes training

Risako and Kanjiro are summoned to Komon's office. He makes Kanjiro a Third Squire. He then gives them a mission: keep Hiromi from being kidnapped. He assigns a loaner soldier, Project 47, to the team as well.

They make it to Hiromi's place. Her daughter shows them around the house before Ryu is in a car bomb. Three Black Hands teleport in and attack them. They're killed, and Ryu isn't too badly damaged.

They hear Hiromi screaming, so they run up the stairs and see Hiromi being pushed out a window. The two Black Hands leave Kanjiro a message before fleeing. Hiromi dusts herself off and walks over to heal Ryu. Ryu fixes their car. Five Black Hands teleport in and kidnap them.

Komon isn't pleased about the failure, so he assigns Risako's team the job of going to the location specified in the message. He also assigns Sen's team to protect them.

    Comments, please.

Well, if nothing else does it, this clinches it...
    I'm an idiot.

Of the people who potentially read this, you all know that I call myself an idiot whenever I screw up. This time, though, I've proved it. Read on, good sirs, and you shall see the depth of my folly.

I woke up this morning by the sound of my alarm clock. I shut it off and nearly fell back to sleep. At 8:03 I remembered that I had somewhere to be today, so I got dressed in record time and sprinted downstairs to grab my stuff. While there, I saw that the fuckers who robbed us also took my Chem workbook and Socials textbook. If the purpose was to cause me grief, why not just take the binders too? Why not take the hundred dollar calculators? It boggles the mind.

So there I am, swearing quietly to myself that if I ever find them I will murder them, when I remember that school starts in five minutes. If I sprint the whole way I might make it. I run as fast as I can, but my stamina is akin to that of a newborn kitten. I lose steam once I hit Trethewey.

I stand there, catching my breath, when I notice something... odd. There should be more cars leaving Mouat on Monday morning. Where are all the cars? And then I remembered something, something which made me call myself an idiot this morning.

    There's no school today.

    I'm such an idiot.

    A new form of summary.
Seeing as the last summary was the one at the beginning of the season, I decided that I was going to need a faster method to inform you of the adventure. I sifted through several options, but my favourite was interpretive dance. Watch, and be amazed by the wonderful performance you are about to see!

    <("<) <('')> (>")>

Isn't it so enlightening? Oh, I forgot to mention one thing. Because I have two left feet and no camcorder I decided to hire Kirby to do it for me.

Comments on the season, please. That is, if anyone actually comes here anymore.

    Kidnapping!
Not much happened in the last ten years. Ryu got a PhD and a job, Hoshi got a job, Hiromi and Ox still do their work, Risako finished her training, and Kanjiro got a voice in his head. No biggie, really.

They were all summonned to Komon's office, where he congratulated Risako for completing her training. He then gave them a mission: They were to protect a man until he reached a certain person's home.

He then started pulling a few April Fool's jokes on Kanjiro. You'd think that it would stop working after the third time, but no. After dismissing them, he pied Risako.

The man they were to protect was a nervous wreck. He said that they would take a train to the person's home as he was terrified of flying. While on the train, he was kidnapped. It took too long to knock out the thugs to be able to save their mark.

They learned from one of the thugs that they could find the person who ordered the kidnapping at the Cat's Eye Pub in Yakahara Town. His name was Gonkuro Satake. They took a day to find the pub.

At the pub, Risako boldly asked in a loud voice for Gonkuro Satake. After Mr. Satake learned why they were there, he ordered his men to kill the party. However, Risako walked up to Satake, through tables and thugs, and pointed her wand at his neck. He ordered the thugs off and said that he was ordered to have the man kidnapped from a minor crime lord in the city. He said the man's name, and the party left to find him.

It took all day (again) to find him, and by then they were tired. They'll worry about the man tomorrow.

    Home, sweet... home?
After a week of transmutation, Risako created enough guns to supply the army. At this point, Saiko had to demonstrate the gun's effectiveness to a room of sceptical generals, so she had Ryu put one through it's paces. Obviously they were impressed, so Saiko gave Ryu a month to train people.

After that month, they attacked the city. Their main objective was to simply enter the city, as when that was accomplished the enemies could be easily mopped up. They succeeded in their objective, and rushed to the centre of the city.

At the centre of the city was the messaging machine. They entered, and inside killed Ai, Megumi, and Nozomi. They also found Zenko, but he was already dead. They then started the machine, and while it was charging they acquired the required parts to send the message.

After they sent the message Komon appeared and whisked them away to their home universe. He said that they had been missing for one hundred fifty years. He said that doctors would look at them shortly, but that Risako and Sen needed to give him a report.

After listening to their report, Komon lead them to the hospital. At the hospital, a nurse herded them into a side room. She told them that she couldn't heal more than a superficial amount of damage to Kanjiro because he was the One True Seer.

The next day, the nurse, Komon, and Risako told Kanjiro the bad news. Later, Komon told Risako about the Prophesy of the Founders. It said that whenever a crisis affected Magopir that one of the five founders of magic would be reborn. The five founders were the One True Seer for Psions, the Elemental Master for Mages, the Healing Queen for Clerics, the Jedi Knight for Wizards, and the Universal King for Thaumaturges. He said that it is impossible to detect a Founder unless the host would realize it soon, too.

Later, Komon said that the past 150 years had been traumatic. Ten years after ther left, England was destroyed in a battle between Magopir and Kamata's forces. Ten years after that, most of Earth was under Kamata's control. Magopir offered to protect the other half, and they agreed.

Five years later, Mars tried again to annex the Settlers Union. Magopir sent people to Carrasis to prevent such a thing. Twenty years later, when New Magopir was fully established, they sent many artifacts to New Magopir to protect them.

Kamata's forces were able to deal a severe blow to Magopir, so Magopir called on the Council for assistance. Ten years of deliberation later, the Council loaned five Councilors to Lord Mazaki. With their help, Magopir was able to push Kamata's forces back to his very stronghold. It took fourty years, though.

With Magopir about to defeat him, Kamata performed a forbidden ritual that allowed him to steal twenty people's energy. He picked Councilors. The rest of the Council joined Lord Mazaki, but it was too late. Kamata was just shy of a god in terms of raw power. Ten years later, the entire Council was dead. The last Councilor destroyed Kamata's body, though, and bound his soul to a castle.

With Kamata unable to personally lead his forces to victory, it took his forces fourty five years to conquer Earth. Almost immediately after conquering Earth, Kamata declared war on Mars, New Magopir, and the Settler's Union. Neither side has lost any ground, though.

Komon then promoted Risako, Kanjiro, Ox, Hiromi, Saiko, Mineko, and Hanae. Their new ranks are: Knight Endo; Squires Wakai, Mineko, and Hanae; Pages Kanjiro, Mazaki, and Awks.

At next adventure I'll tell you what happened in the intervening ten years.

    A month with allies
The party arrived at the gunpowder mine, where Risako gave Saiko a verbal report on what had happened since they last met. During this time Saiko was forced to reveal to the scouts that she was human. After the report, the nonmagicals in the party were given glamers and shown to their rooms.

The remaining people saw who the Bloody Knight actually was: Sen. Sen said that he had been controlled by Kamata into betraying Magopir, and that he was chosen to lead the team to rescue them because of his involvement in the whole affair. He then had all of the humans be given glamers and sent them away.

They were sent to the mess hall, where Saiko asked Ryu if he would aid her army by arming them with real weapons. He agreed, and so Saiko sent Ryu off to meet with some scientists.

A month later, the first AK-47 had been completed. It'll be used as a model to create the others. That morning, an alarm sounded. Saiko sent the party to guard the prison, as it would likely be the safest place to be in an attack.

The three scouts, Ai, Megumi, and Nozomi had escaped from their cells and were about to escape the mine entirely before the party got there. There was a fight, and it ended with the scouts throwing smoke bombs and fleeing. The smoke bombs made the humans in the party fall unconscious.

When they woke up, Saiko told them that they hadn't lost a single person in the attack thanks to Hiromi.

    The Great Escape
Zenko was furious at the party's failure. He threatened the three scouts that they were with and took Ryu away to make different designs for weapons.

The three scouts started to worriedly chat amongst themselves. From the chat, the party was able to discover that Zenko was in fact a dictator ruling over the city with an iron fist. He also only accepted one failure. This worried them as this was their second failure.

Kanjiro remembered the orders he had recieved from Mineko earlier that day. She had ordered him to make contacts inside the city to learn about the strength of the army and any weaknesses in the defence.

To complete his orders, he convinced Ai, Megumi, and Nozomi to join his cause. They offered to do small spying jobs for him.

Just after they offered their services Ryu was thrown back into the building badly wounded. Zenko said that if anyone screwed up again that they would be killed. Saiba protested Ryu's mistreatment and demanded to see the schematics of the inter-dimensional messager. Zenko had his guards throw him in jail for his insolence.

Two days later, Zenko sent a letter to the party saying that they would be freed when the Bloody Knight was dead. Kanjiro told Mineko about their perdicament and about a weakness in the southern gate. Mineko said that she would prepare the army.

Two days later, Mineko launched a fake attack on the east gate. It was easily crushed, and Mineko had placed a glamer on one of the soldiers to make him look like the Bloody Knight. Zenko gleefully told the party that now that the Bloody Knight was dead that he didn't need their lives anymore. The three scouts attacked their guards to keep them from attacking the party, and Zenko's guard attacked the Party to allow Zenko to flee.

After turning Zenko's guard into stone, Megumi and Nozomi lead the party out of the city. Ai joined up later. Outside of the city they were picked up by Mineko and the adventure ended there.

A day late, I know, but the More-Wind is simply too good of a game. I mean, I've played that game for probably 200-500 hours, and it's never grown old.

From a way home to an accursed mine
At night Kanjiro had a terrible dream. This wouldn't be noteworthy, but this dream was a new one, and it was extremely clear. In the dream he saw Death at a wedding ceremony, then ruling over a large area, then as a bloody knight. He also saw a greedy, evil man summon demons to arm his army so that he could conquer all. After the greedy man killed the bloody knight he became a new Death. The demons revived the bloody knight, who was now a man in white. The man in white defeated Death and sent the demons home.

After the dream, Saiba told them that their host had a possible way to get home. He said that Zenko would let them use it if they helped him first by showing him some new weapon types.

Zenko said a similar message, but he also told them about the politics of the region. Ten years ago an outsider became the leader of a tribe. Over the next nine years the outsider united all of the warring tribes and started to make demands of the inhabitants of the city. The outsider's moniker was the Bloody Knight.

Ryu left with Zenko and some scientists to help them design some weapons. A few hours later he returneed. More hours later Zenko returned. He said that the city was, in fact, able to quickly retool one of their factories to make AK-47s but that they needed to aquire some gunpowder. There was a mine northeast that contained all of the materials required to make gunpowder, but it's guards were the Outsider Sisters.

The Outsider Sisters were three lieutenants of the Bloody Knight. They had a reputation of being undefeatable in combat. Zenko said that the only people who stood a chance against the Sisters were the party, so he sent some scouts to guide them to the mine.

The scout leader, Ai, chose five people to go on the mission. Inexplicably, she chose Kanjiro over Ox. She also chose Hiromi, Risako, Ryu, and Hoshi. They left the city and made it to the mine. At the mine, the three scouts and Hiromi stayed back to allow the other four to kill the Sisters.

However, they were unable to find the Sisters. The Sisters, though, were able to find them. They announced their prescence, and when Risako turned around to see them one of the Sisters said that she knew Risako.

The Sisters removed their glamer and showed themselves to be humans. The leader of the Sisters introduced herself as Saiko, Risako's old boss. She said that she wanted to speak with Risako in private, but that she would have to kill the others as they weren't members of Magopir. Risako told Saiko that Kanjiro was also a member, and that she had to protect her friends. Saiko laughed and said that the friends could live if they could kill her underlieutenant, an alien with a magical spear.

After they did the deed, one of the other Outsider Sisters, Hanae, healed the underlieutenant back to life before they all left to their office. At the office, Saiko asked Risako what she had been doing in the ten years since the wedding. She was... displeased to learn that Risako and co. were at the wedding a mere two weeks or so ago.

She asked who Ryu was, and after receiving the answer kneed him in the crotch hard enough to make his father feel it. She then ordered Risako to infiltrate the city and for Kanjiro to mentally contact her subordinate Mineko in four days.

The party left and returned to Hiromi and the three scouts. Disappointed at the failure, they returned to the city.

Ox was extremely pleased at the news that Risako now had a superior. She pulled out a rule that stated that if mages were stranded then only the highest ranking mage could make rules forbidding contact between subordinates. Seeing as Risako was no longer the highest ranking mage Ox would be allowed to glomp Kanjiro as much as she wanted. She then did so.

Sorry that this one is a day late, but as you can see it's a higher quality than the last one. I needed to think of how I was going to phrase it and such.

After Kanjiro joined Magopir his life turned from bad to worse. First, Ox told Risako that she couldn't tell her to not interact with Kanjiro because of some obscure rule. Then, Hiromi countered with another obscure rule that countered Ox's, but also forced Kanjiro into working for Risako. They continue to spend all of their time to look for rules, clauses, and counter-clauses to win the law on their side.

They all were in a meeting with Saiba. He said that he had discovered two things. First, all that they would need to return home would be some rare fuel. Second, there were two settlements nearby. One was a village with pre-Feudal tech and the other was a city with small spots of high tech.

As they were leaving to reach the city, their ship was attacked. They rushed back and killed all of the enemies. However, a few of the enemies were able to steal critical parts of the ship.

After the battle, a second group of aliens arrived. They showed the party how to use a Universal Translator. They said that they needed to take the party and their ship back to the city. So, the party agreed to their terms.

After they made it to the city, their host gave them some beds and food.

Risako suddenly realized that her Spirit Siphon power didn't make any sense, so she was able to use her magic points for other things.

    Goodbye, Earth
Ryu and Hiromi have been living together for two and a half years, so Ryu finally decided to propose. The result of the proposal was a engagement party. All of the old gang was invited, and Ryu was going to be showing off one of the machines that his team at Takajima had produced.

At the party, Grandfather pulled Risako to the side and told her several things. First, he revealed that he was a Lord of Magopir. Second, he said that Ryu's machine would provide the impoetus to a catastrophe if it wasn't destroyed. He gave Risako the job of doing it in.

However, before she could even think of killing the machine a man stormed up to Hiromi and started arguing with her. He was furious that she was marrying someone outside of Magopir. After a while Grandfather threatened the man and told him to leave. The man's name was Sen.

Four hours later, Sen reappeared with five others. The leader of the other people said that he was going to kill the man who was going to marry Hiromi. Grandfather argued with him and they started to fight. Sen advanced on Hiromi, but Ryu stopped him. Sen and the party fought him and won rather easily. I really should've had Sen go invisible before the battle started. -.-

After they beat on Sen, Ryu's boss told everyone to escape using the machine. However, just as they were leaving Sen shot a bolt of energy at the machine.

They woke up several hours later. Ryu's boss, Shiba, told them that they weren't in the Milky Way anymore. He continued to say that Ox had been let on the ship. He then asked Hiromi what the whole mess was about.

She said that she was an Associate, but a noble as well because of her grandfather. Apparantly a higher-up noble thought that Sen and Hiromi would have made a great couple. Hiromi disagreed, and quit being a noble. The other nobles were shocked at this, but Grandfather supported her. This lead to the current civil war.

After the "official" adventure, Risako tried to convince Kanjiro to join Magopir. She succeeded. Everyone who needs to know about this already does know, so I won't bother posting a synopsis of that encounter. Plus, I can't remember all of what happened...

Comments, please. Last one didn't get any comments at all, which irks me seeing as everyone wanted me to post it earlier.

    Reunion
It's been five years since they last met. It's the high school reunion, and all of the old gang have shown up. They told each other what they'd been doing in the last five years.

Kanjiro is at university studying law. Risako is a "secretary" (Technically true. She mostly does paperwork for Magopir). Ryu works for Takejima Enterprises in an entry-level engineering position. Bakin works as a security guard in Ryu's building. Finally, Hoshi is a SWAT team member.

Ryu and Hiromi are still dating. However, Hiromi has been hinting that she wants marriage.

Anyway, the former Prom Queen stepped to the front of the reception hall and delivered a message to the people there. Turns out that she was the Ox and still angry that Kanjiro didn't date her. She claimed that she had poisoned the lot of them, as well as boobytrapping all the entrances and exits into the school. Finally, she said that she would give them the antidote if they caught her.

She lead Kanjiro through memory lane. During the "trip", the party fought two seven armed monsters and four five armed monsters. Eventually, they found themselves in the bunker. Down there they found Ryu's reporter lady. She threatened him with blackmail, so he agreeed to send help later.

They caught the Ox, but she told them that if they were to fight that the antidote would shatter and become useless. Eventually, Kanjiro agreed to go on a date with the Ox in exchange for the antidote. After agreeing, she told him that both the poison and the booby-traps were fake. However, as she was paying, the party decided to go with her anyway.

In the middle of the movie Captain Komon pulled Risako to the side. He said that the Ox was the Assistant Director of the Genetics team, and that the entire episode was a field test of the new models.

As a side note, while I love Shadow of the Collosus, I despise time attacks. What a quandry!

    The end of childhood.
It's been a month since we last met our plucky heroes. In that time they've defended thirteen people from Ina. They've also had to study for finals, something that rivals a hostage situation in terms of stress. Since the finals are done, it was decided that a vacation would be the only way to retain sanity.

The people going on the vacation were Arrow, Bairei, Hiromi, Giuseppe, and the party sans Bakin. Bakin was, unfortunately, forced to wait due to a scheduling mishap with his finals.

They were all on a bus. Also on the bus was the driver and several unnamed people. They don't matter, so they won't be mentioned again.

A tire on the bus exploded, causing it to go over a cliff. Hiromi used all of her magic keeping Risako, Ryu, and Kanjiro from death. Arrow told them that he had found some shelter for the night, so they followed him into a forest.

Much to their suprise, the forest was haunted. Even more suprising was that Satomi was the person haunting the forest. Apparently Genjo was acting alone, using Satomi's name as a front. She wasn't pleased about this.

They met Ina again. He said that they would use Hiromi as a lure to get Genjo into the forest where Satomi would eat him. Before leaving to get Genjo, he said that the fight would be the next day.

Ina brought Genjo and some weak monsters. They killed the monsters and lured Genjo to the edge of the forest. Ina pushed Genjo in, but was stabbed in the process. Satomi said she was going to eat them both, so Ina told Kanjiro how to get Ina's car. Ina and Genjo were then dragged into the forest in a horrifying manner.

Kanjiro called for the car, which tried to run him over. He teleported inside and killed the driver, Zeppil. After feeding Zeppil to the car, they drove to town. However, they were pulled over by a "police officer". He easily blocked Risako's spell and revealed himself to be Captain Heiji Komon of Magopir. He didn't seem to mind the magical assault.

They told him everything that had occured and he said he would rescue the rest of the people from the crashed bus. They then had a vacation.

After the vacation, Heiji had Kanjiro's, Bakin's, Ryu's, and Hoshi's memories of Magopir and Risako's magic erased. They moved on to normal lives, but horrible nightmares plague Kanjiro now, nightmares about Ina's death.

The next adventure takes place five years later. Each of the party members have moved on from high school to different causes and occupations. I'll list those in next week's post.

    Until then, tschuss.

Hiromi apoligised to Kanjiro for spying on him and to Ryu for being an idiot. Both accepted, more or less.

First Masque called Risako the morning after the incident. He said that, while he couldn't give her information personally, he was sending an associate to do the job. He told her a code sentence to say to the associate before hanging up.

The associate, Seventh Masque, told them a great deal of things. He said that World War Three (The End War) was orchestrated by a single powerful monster. Magopir destroyed the monster before it could finalize preperations, but it was too late to stop the war.

They shattered the monster's soul into several hundred pieces before sending it into the void. Two hundred years later, they summoned it back one piece at a time and inserted each piece into a seperate dying person's soul. They thought that they had solved the problem.

However, souls reincarnate after time. Satomi wants to collect each of the pieces and use them to recreate the monster. With her help, the monster would certainly be able to destroy the world.

Luckily, no one has the ability to detect soul shards unaided. Unluckily, three hundred people have the innate, unstoppable ability to give aid. Hiromi is one of them. Seventh asked the party to find and protect anyone who Hiromi uncovered. He said that, given time, the Masques would protect them, but that they were stretched for time and memberships at the time.

He then left, saying that a piece of paper was trying to gain Risako's attention. It gave her a meeting point, and the party left for it. A storekeeper gave each of them a large box of cinderblocks to take to Captain Komon. They took the boxes and teleported to Magopir.

Their mission was to protect The Bombardiers, a British band. Heiji gave Risako a SoulShardOMatic7000, a machine to detect soul shards. It took them until finding out their names to find out that The Bombardiers was a bad pun on The Beatles. While in the concert area they protected a man being beaten to death by four large, angry men. The man contained a soul shard of the monster.

After beating up the thugs, thirteen girls from Kanjiro's swarm showed up. Apparently, they each won tickets to the concert in a radio contest. They chased him, of course. At the same time, a swarm of reporters started chasing Ryu. In the end, a "girl" that resembled an ox claimed Kanjiro as boyfriend, while one of the reporters chased Ryu to the roof of a building, where she forced a story out of him. She also said that she had been transferred to NeoTokyo as a correspondent assigned to Ryu. This equals Nemesis One, boys and girls.

After the reporter went away, Heiji "escorted" them back to Magopir. He lead Risako to the Council to make her report on Satomi's reasoning behind the attacks. She made the report and was promoted to Page. The council gave her a new mission: find ten new people containing soul shards of the monster and report their names and locations to Magopir. If completed, they said they would recommend that she be promoted to Squire.

The rest of the day passed uneventfully.

    Captain Ina
Ina was born 19 years ago in Fuji. His father was the Hand of the local Anti-Robots-Mutants chapter, and his mother was a librarian. When he was five, his father was killed by a robot who he was lynching at the time. The robot was murdered shortly afterward. His mother continued to try to teach her son ARM politics and bigotry, but none of it really stuck to him.

At seven he saw his first Battle Chess game. His mother disapproved of sports, so he was only able to watch games at his friends' houses. He was always captivated by the speed and grace of the professionals, but his favourite players were the ones who cheated just flamboantly enough to be noticable, but not enough to be banned from the game.

At ten he joined the little kiddies league against his mother's wishes. In order to get the money to join the team he worked at a pet store. Ever since then he has always loved animals.

He was easily the best player on his team. During one game the rest of his team was knocked out in a suprise raid. He was able to defend the King alone for long enough for his team to respawn, and he then lead the assault team against the enemy King.

At the age of thirteen he took up his pet store job for fourty hours a week and left home. His mother had been getting more and more abusive, hitting the drink almost as hard as she hit him. His mother committed suicide soon after. After he learned of the news, he smiled.

He became increasingly dark and moody. Two days after learning his mother was dead he joined the Nagano High Battle Chess team. Within two months he was promoted to lieutenant for his skills. A friend of his soon was promoted to Captain with Ina's help. Ina was easily the best person on the team alone, but he lacked in teamwork abilities.

At fifteen he met Kanjiro. He immediately saw in Kanjiro what his own life had lacked: happiness. He detested the young man, and took no effort to hide this fact. He used his rank and age to bully the boy, despite having no response to the bullying.

Halfway through his fifteenth year he found that he could tame any creature, no matter how wild, in only a few days. He found that if he concentrated on an imaginary creature that he would soon meet it, as long as he detailed the creature extremely well in his mind. Suddenly he had all the friends he would ever need. He cut off ties with the rest of his click and retreated into his mind.

When he became sixteen, roughly the time when the Captain of the team was teaching Kanjiro about his abilities, he met Genjo. Genjo said that he was the most promising player he had ever seen, and with words and money won Ina over. When Ina graduated later that year, he moved fully into Satomi's employ.

Nothing is known after that point.

    February 4 BESM
A few days before the adventure, Hiromi and Kanjiro had a major fight. They still weren't speaking when the adventure started.

It was a boring day. Mr. Kono was droning on and on about some subject or another when he opened the door and in came a 2.5m tall boy. He was introduced as Arrow Young from Deimos and was told to sit next to Risako. Almost immediately he developed a deep crush.

At lunch he was accosted by two students and would have been beaten up if Risako and Ryu hadn't stepped in. Nothing interesting happened for the rest of the day.

At 11:30 Risako was called by "a friend". The "friend" said that Arrtow had been kidnapped and would soon die. He offered to help Risako find Arrow and then hung up. Arrow's captors phoned Risako, made a threat and demanded a ransom. The "friend" called again and said that he had traced the call. He told Risako where Arrow was and hung up.

The party went to Arrow's location. Inside the warehouse was Genjo, 4 monsters, and Ina. Genjo almost attacked the party, but then someone showed up. He said that he was the "friend" and told Genjo to fight him. Genjo agreed. The man said that his name was "The First Masque".

The monsters died in an embarrasingly short amount of time. Ina tried to use a mecha, but it broke. He then fled.

Arrow was okay. First Masque left a message for Risako saying thhat he hadn't killed Genjo, but that he would arrange a meeting between them for the exchange of information.

    Adventure On!
It'd been five days since the party started protecting Hiromi, and except for the first day they've been unneeded. Ryu's nightmares have been getting worse, but there's nothing they can do about it. He's also started dating Hiromi. All day today the party has been unable to concentrate on anything. It's Wednesday, and that means afterschool Battle Chess practice.

Unfourtunately, they had a fifth wheel named Hiromi that needed to be taken care of. She was supposed to be on the other side of town, but there was no time to take her there. They decided to take her to their Battle Chess practice so that they wouldn't miss it.

When they reached the arena their coach had a suprise for them: they would get to play a real team. The enemy team's coach wanted to meet them before the game, so off they went to a cafe. There they were greeted by Captain Ina of the Monsters, the team they were playing against. He led them to his coach and lieutenants. The coach was Genjo. After saying more veiled threats Genjo and the party got ready to play. It got close at one point, but the party won the game.

After the game Genjo handed Coach Abe a large sum of money before attempting to threaten the party again. They didn't care, though, as they simply walked off while he threatened. They were taking Hiromi home when Genjo, Captain Ina, and the four lieutenants attacked them. Ina summoned two critters, Purupu and Falasis. When they had beaten Ina unconscious Falasis teleported him and Purupu away. They talked the remaining lieutenants into running away. Genjo said he'd be back before fleeing. Then the most important part of the adventure happened: Hiromi asked Ryu for help on some of her homework.

I was annoyed that Mitch AKA Bakin didn't show, but not too annoyed. I was more pissed when Gwyd AKA Risako left in the middle of the last battle, leaving me to control him.

I had also overestimated the party's health totals. I thought they all had ~ ten HP. No, they had more like six HP. No matter, they were able to convince most of the meat in the enemy party to flee. If they hadn't done that then they woulda probably died. I also had to give Hiromi Healing on the spot in order to keep Ryu from dying. I'm seriously going to have to give her Unknown Superhuman Power or something.

Thoughts? Comments? Gripes? I'm all ears.
